DIRTY HANDS PALEONTOLOGISTS

We are the magazine of DIRTY HANDS paleontologists who do the field work of digging up fossils, restoring them and keeping records of what we learned working directly with the fossils. Under our fingernails are dirt, paint, shellac, super glue and plaster. The MT. Blanco Fossil News is full of pictures taken on location.

It's a magazine about fossils, up close.  It's about the secrets of excavation, restoration and molding. It's about real paleontologists and the real world of evolution vs. science and the Bible.

It's not a magazine by a bunch of arm-chair scientists sitting in a comfortable 70 degree room. It's about blowing dirt, freezing cold, blazing hot, bathrooms-behind-a-tree, broken bones, poisonous snakes, gnats from Hades, eccentric ranchers, and sometimes the treachery of claim jumpers. It's also about passion. "Passion!! Passion!! That's what I require of my staff!" said one famous Russian paleontologist. We feel the same way Shidloskvi! And you'll be hearing more from "The King of Russia", as the Siberian mammoth bone collectors call him (for more on Feyador see the Natl. Geo. May 2005). You'll hear from other real paleontologists too, even those who don’t like the creation message.  They may be wrong in their conclusions, but they do a lot of good work. They'll get a hearing in the Mt. Blanco Fossil News Magazine. $40 for SIX bimonthly issues. Single issues also available.

We restore and replicate fossils.  We're in touch with and friends with real paleontologists whose fossils are in the news. Some of them oppose our work, but that's ok. We're not in the work because it's easy. We believe the world needs to know the truth about fossils and the fact that they really do agree with the Biblical history of the world. We've worked on a lot of world classed fossils ourselves.

It's a man's world, the field of paleontology...well, almost. No, there are some girl diggers and in one issue we're planning to feature some of their work. One group of Home School Moms excavated a whole herd of fossil Zebras. How about that, fellas?

Will our articles be written by Creationists with degrees? Yes, some. But, most of us who actually do the field and lab work are not degreed. It's the same in the secular world. No, the lack of a degree won't keep anyone from writing for the Mt. Blanco Fossil News Magazine. The first issue has an article by a 15 year old home educated boy about what may be a profound discovery. His writing is on the level with a college grad student. And who is out their digging -- a lot of home schoolers. There is a reason for that. You'll see. Terry Beh has a column listing numerous fossil stories and how to find the stories on the web.

Each issue will feature a complete story on a major fossil project of the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum, from their discovery, through the restoration and all that was learned from spending weeks, months and sometimes years with them. Want to advertise to a crowd who is interested in outdoor's activities and science, of Creationists as well as evolutionists? Ads range from $300 for a full color to $50 one eighth page. Contact us about bulk sales. These issues aren't going extinct as soon as they're published. They will be keepers.

The Mt. Blanco Fossil News Magazine is also the Journal Of Omniology.  That's the study of everything. There is no telling what may turn up in its pages.   Remember the Hippies and the Jesus Freaks?? You will, and you will learn why they were significant and what it has to do with Creation vs. Evolution. We have some great stuff coming.

The Mt. Blanco Fossil News will be using art by award -winning professionals as well as seven-year old kids! Know an artist who wants to get published? Let us know.
