Mt. Blanco News 2001-2004 Archives

The American Vision My "Pilgrim" Kids  One Easter vacation in 1980 California I was struggling to come up with an idea for an illustrated logo for the new American Vision project. All seven of the neighbor kids I was helping to raise were home and making plenty of noise.  "Put them to work!.” I thought.  “You guys want to go to a movie costume place?"  Of course they did.

MR PIBB and the Little Ladies Could there be a connection between lettering on a modern soft drink can, Nazi Germany and our founding fathers?  Maybe.  Let’s see. Before Joe Taylor (that’s me) started digging up fossils I designed typefaces (lettering) and did art work for several Patriot organizations.  So?  What’s this about Mr. Pibb, and the Nazis?

4-Winged Fossil Bird
"It has feathers on its hind legs that resemble wings", said Taylor. Supposedly since it predates many dinosaurs which evolutionists want it to have evolved from, it is necessary to say it is some sort of "proto" bird.  It has some simularities to Dr. Sankar Chatterjee's "Proto Avis" which has long been  scorned by bird evolutionists. I re-examined a cast of the famous archeopteryx  and suprisingly I noticed what looked like feathers on its leg! Maybe lots of  fossil birds had feathered legs! Order a cast of  this great fossil and see for yourself.
