The Famous Controversial Taylor Trail

of Glen Rose Texas

Taylor Trail Mold

Long a subject of debate between creationists and evolutionists is this famous dinosaur track-way first uncovered in the 60's by Stan Taylor. The fact that its under water year around has made it difficult to even attempt molding the entire trail. Finally however,  Joe Taylor with the help of several volunteers, under the supervision of Dr. Don Patton was finally able to mold 45 feet of the main track way. Problems with water seepage and drying the track way as well as the short day light hours in November made the molding process almost impossible. Adding to this, was the factor of an early 5 oclock sunset and cold damp humidity. The finished latex mold was removed in the dark at 8:30 P.M. and the nine large sections of the mold were carried out across the river by hand. The molds are now in the Mt. Blanco fossil museum awaiting finishing touches. As soon as the mold is completely ready and casts have been pulled of the entire trail, a conference will be announced and all parties interested in the importance of this critical evidence will be invited to a three-day seminar to study it. The Taylor Trail has stirred tremendous debate because many of those who have worked on it believe that the dinosaur tracks are being stepped into by HUMANS. This would be contrary to the theory that men and dinosaurs did not walk together and were alive at the same time."
