Bring your family to Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum the Friday after Thanksgiving to enjoy some of our special, educational activities and offers. There will be a variety of activities offered throughout the day, including several demonstrations of fossil work, a short presentation on progress of recent projects, and a special kids’ craft ($5 per participant). At the end of the day, there will be a drawing for two prizes: a Fossil Facts & Fantasies book and a fossil replica of a set of 3 phacops trilobite fossils.
Normal museum admission of $5 for adults and $2 for children (ages 6-12) apply
Kids’ Craft: paint your own trilobite fossil replica, $5 per participant
Schedule – Friday Nov. 27
- 9:00 am – Doors open, trilobite painting kids craft opens
- 10:00 am – Demonstration of fossil replica casting & molds
- 11:00 am – Demonstration of fossil field jacket work & new tylosaur project
- 2:00 pm – Presentation of latest Mt. Blanco news & projects updates
- 3:00 pm – Demonstration of fossil replica casting & molds
- 4:00 pm – Demonstration of fossil field jacket work on new tylosaur project
- 5:00 pm – Doors close, trilobite painting kids craft closes
